How to enable two-factor authentication

Add an extra layer of security to your account with two-factor authentication using an authenticator app or SMS codes.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Account > Security.
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Choose your 2FA method: Authenticator App (recommended) or SMS.
  4. If using an app, scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar.
  5. Enter the 6-digit verification code from your app to confirm setup.
  6. Save the backup recovery codes in a secure location.
  7. Two-factor authentication is now active on your account.
  8. You will be prompted for a code at each login.
๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Use an authenticator app rather than SMS for better security. SMS codes can be intercepted through SIM swapping attacks.
