How to set product pricing and markups
Create price sheets with your markup on top of base costs. See your profit per item and apply different pricing to different galleries.
Steps
- Go to Store > Price Sheets in your dashboard.
- Click Create Price Sheet to start a new pricing configuration.
- Browse the product list and see the base cost for each item and size.
- Enter your selling price for each product. The system calculates your profit automatically.
- Alternatively, set a markup percentage and prices are calculated from the base cost.
- Name the price sheet for easy reference, such as Wedding Pricing or Portrait Pricing.
- Assign the price sheet to specific galleries or set it as your default.
- Click Save to activate the pricing.
๐ก Tip: Research what other photographers in your area charge and price competitively. A 2x to 3x markup on base cost is typical for most products.
