How to track payments and send reminders

Monitor outstanding invoices and automate payment reminders. Never chase late payments manually again.

Steps

  1. Go to Invoices to see the payment status of all your invoices.
  2. Each invoice shows: Draft, Sent, Viewed, Paid, or Overdue.
  3. Click on any invoice to see the payment timeline and client activity.
  4. Enable automatic payment reminders under Invoice Settings.
  5. Set reminder intervals: 3 days before due, on due date, and 3 days overdue.
  6. Customize the reminder email text.
  7. For stubborn overdue invoices, send a manual follow-up from the invoice page.

Q: Can I see when a client has viewed the invoice?
Yes, the invoice status changes to Viewed when the client opens the invoice link.

You can add late fees manually by editing the invoice and adding a late fee line item.
