How Digital Passes work (pre-arrival sales)

Sell an unlimited-photo pass before the guest arrives. Basic, Unlimited, and VIP tiers drive pre-paid revenue and warm up face recognition enrollment.

What is a Digital Pass

A Digital Pass is a pre-paid photo package sold before the guest reaches your venue. Because it's pre-paid, conversion is roughly 3x higher than asking at checkout.

The three tiers

- Basic (€50) — up to 10 digital photos during the stay, delivered the day before checkout. - Unlimited (€100) — every photo captured, all formats. Most popular with families on 5+ night stays. - VIP (€150) — unlimited plus priority photographer plus one dedicated 20-minute sunset session.

Where the pass is sold

  1. **Booking-confirmation email** — injected into the hotel's post-booking sequence.
  2. **Pre-arrival WhatsApp** — a friendly upsell 48 hours before check-in.
  3. **Lobby QR** — guest scans, picks a tier, pays via Stripe in under a minute.
  4. **Welcome archway** — family photo at arrival, QR card handed over with the print.

What happens after purchase

- The guest is auto-enrolled in face recognition for the duration of the stay. - A TokenCard record is created with the pass type and expiry. - Photographers working the property see the guest's pass status in the kiosk app.

FAQ

The pass is non-refundable but transferable within the same booking. Most venues keep a 24-hour courtesy-refund window.
Q: Does the VIP session require an appointment?
Yes. The guest books it through the lobby QR or from the pass confirmation email.
