How to connect a custom domain to your website

Use your own domain name for your Fotiqo website. Follow the step-by-step DNS configuration instructions.

Steps

Go to Website > Settings > Domain.
Enter your desired domain name such as www.janephotography.com.
Fotiqo will display the DNS records you need to add.
Log in to your domain registrar account.
Navigate to the DNS settings for your domain.
Add the CNAME record pointing your domain to Fotiqo servers.
If using a root domain without www, add the A record as instructed.
Return to Fotiqo and click Verify. SSL is provisioned automatically.

💡 Tip: After updating DNS records, verification may take 15 minutes to 24 hours. Be patient and try verifying again later if it does not work immediately.
