Face-Search Photo Delivery

Face-search photo delivery lets an enrolled, consenting guest receive their photos automatically by matching their face — no wristband or code needed. The guest opts in, the system matches their photos once, and the matching data is deleted.

How it works

A guest opts in by taking a selfie at entry or on their phone. As cameras capture photos around the venue, the system matches the guest's enrolled face to their shots and delivers them — often before the guest even leaves the ride.

The consent and privacy model

Done responsibly, face-search only ever matches guests who explicitly enrolled. The face vector is used to find that guest's photos and then deleted immediately — it is not a surveillance tool and does not retain biometrics of people who didn't opt in.

Why venues use it

It removes the friction of wristbands and codes, so more guests actually receive (and buy) their photos. It pairs naturally with real-time delivery — the photo lands on the phone instantly, driving social sharing and impulse purchase.

Frequently asked questions

Is face-search photo delivery GDPR-compliant?
It can be, with the right model: explicit opt-in consent, a clear purpose (find your photos), and immediate deletion of the face vector after matching. Fotiqo's implementation is built around enrolled-guest consent and immediate vector deletion.
Does the venue keep my face data?
In a responsible system, no. The face is matched once to locate your photos and the matching vector is deleted right after. Only guests who choose to enrol are ever matched.
